Do you need me to provide anything when you come?

No. I only need your pet! The van is completely self-contained and I will take all the dirty water and the dog hair with me when I leave.

Do you groom cats?

Yes, I do groom cats.
Cats, as you know if you have one, are very sensitive creatures and the quiet environment a mobile salon can offer suits them well. Some cats will not tolerate a bath but will allow me to give them a haircut or a brush out. We will discuss the best options for your cat at the time of the appointment.

Can you groom the Giant Breeds?

No I am sorry I cannot. They are simply too large too fit comfortably and groom properly in the van. In this category, I must include GoldenDoodles and many of the Labradoodles. This is mostly due to their coat type and the owners desire to keep them in a coat length that is too labor intensive for me to accomplish in a timely manner.

What are your fees?

Mobile salons typically charge more than the average grooming salon. Prices are dependent on breed, coat type and condition, size of your pet and many other factors. I will be happy to give you an estimate for your pet’s groom. Please call or email me for more information.

Do I need to be home while you are grooming my pet?

Yes, you will need to be available for the first few appointments. It is extremely important that you are comfortable with my service and that I have completed your pet’s haircut to your satisfaction for one or two appointments.

What areas do you service and what are your hours of availability?

The mobile salon covers areas of Hunterdon, Somerset and Mercer Counties.
Grooming appointments are available Monday through Friday. My first appointment begins at approx. 9 AM and the last appointment must be completed by 3:30. Scheduling is dependent on where you live and how long it will take to groom your pet. Please contact me for more specific information. Please include your city, and the type and number of pets you will need groomed.

Can I schedule a standing appointment?

Yes! I strongly recommend it. Once you have your appointment booked, you don’t have to worry about it. You will also have the benefit of prescheduling your holiday appointments to ensure that your pet looks and smells wonderful when the family arrives!

Does my pet need to have current vaccinations?

For your pet’s health and safety, I strongly encourage you to have your pet up to date on its vaccinations. I understand that it is a very personal issue regarding vaccinations and the necessity of them every year for the duration of your pet’s life.
I will require proof of current rabies vaccination before I can groom your pet.

Will you trim my other pet’s nails even though you are not grooming him?

What types of payment will you accept?

At this time, I can only accept checks and cash. Payment is due at the time of your appointment.
